Fanuc, the Japanese manufacturer of industrial robots, chose Luxembourg for its European headquarters and it has built a distribution centre in the Grand Duchy measuring 20,000 square metres.
The manufacturing sector accounts for nearly 8.3 percent of the workforce in Luxembourg and comprises nearly 5 percent of the GDP.
